College is beautiful. It's also challenging and interesting, but HOLY YIPES!!! It's really hard. Essays, class speaches, and just barely standing on the edge of sanity trying to keep up with events.

My biggest pain at the moment is missing yall tho. Every day feels like your faces are fading slightly in my mind, and that's a bad feeling. I've got pictures tho. :- )

so i'm turning eighteen in a couple of days, and i'm throwing a pool party at my house. heck yeah! why not? i'm throwing a pool party at my house and yall are all invited! It'll begin this friday at 4:00pm and go till you've turned into a prune and your eyes are bleeding from chlorine damage. There will also be pizza (and other snacks) and i'm gonna set up an awesome theater in part of the house so we can get a bunch of popcorn and watch a yet-to-be-chosen movie.

hello,

greetings from Prague, Czechoslavakia. sorry i haven't been able to corrospond as much as i would have liked. we have had about 4 meetings every day for the past two weeks in Ukraine, but now it is finished and we're dragging our feet through Prague and Rome for about six days before we head home.

over 1,000 saved. praise God.

i have many new and old friends to tell you about when i get home.

I've noticed something for the first time.
I really like being a passenger in a car at night. I'll usually curl up in a corner next to an open window and squint my eyes so light passes through my eyelashes and makes streetlights look like starbursts. I also like it because the only sound is the wind from the window. other than that, it's silent.
I've had some of my best conversations in silence. It's interesting that words aren't neccesary for conversation. spoken language is only the gravy on the stuffed thanksgiving turkey dinner that is communication. mmmm.... tuuuurkey...... :D

Life's been going alot faster the past few weeks.
College is coming faster than I expect. I wrote a less than 1000 word essay the other day for a contest scholarship for $5,000!! of course... i probably won't win. I'm one in thousands of kids who are all alot better at writing papers than me. But i barely have time for anything now! Just writing this blog is hard to get to!

Speaking of blogs, my internet filter has begun blocking xanga... BLASTED FILTER!!! yarr...

Some folks have noticed that they haven't seen me at church the past few weekends, sorry! My family is a Christian band, we go by our last name (The Franklins) and travel anywhere people will hear us. My dad plays the piano, my mom the violin. My brother plays the guitar (very well i might add), and I'm just a percussionist. (HAND DRUMMER) <-- that's for ignorant people ;) We do this on weekends and usually aren't home for Sunday school or church.

grrr... wish i could be in two places at once...

HEY! Above there is a picture of my awesome dog, Princess. I need to find somebody to take care of her from July 6th to August 7th while my family and I are on a missions trip to Ukraine. I'll pay one-hundred and fifty dollars to anyone kind enough to do this for me. :D

Am I becoming a non-person?

Here's why I ask: I'm not on the same page with any one of my friends. Although yall are my friends, I can't say that ANY of you have the same interests as I do 'cept Christianity. I listen to wierd stuff like Of Montreal, Kid Galahad, and Birelli Lagrene, while most of you listen to Underoath, The Chariot, Becoming the Archtype, and The Fray.

Most of you consider me a bit wack, i'm sure. That's ok with me. It just doesn't seem like it'd be any fun for youguys. If you think you can relate to me on a level OTHER THAN CHRISTIANITY, plz tell me. It'll help.

hello.

i'm about to escape on a scheduled whim to chattanooga tennessee.
once i get there i'll carry bags, set up equipment for a concert, and then perform the actual concert. i play percussion. yippee...

another large part of my life is graphic art. I use photoshop, and i'm not that great, but i'm still expanding my mind around it. to show you how i roll (homey "g" dog,) there's a dedicate, first post, signature picture at the beginning of this post.
